“Future Flashback…”
With Trey’s career gaining more and more momentum by the day, it’s always nice to take a look back from time to time.
Every person who visits this song is a diehard Trey Songz fan. It’s evident when half of the posts I publish here are actually mistaken for Trey haha. But you know what, it’s cool. I don’t mind it at the end of the day. When I first began sharing my thoughts here, one of my initial posts centered around Trey’s first official mixtape (to my knowledge), “Young & Heartless Vol. 1.” I know more than half of the people who type SeeFurtherThanIAm.com in their browser have every song Songz has appeared on.
This, however, is for those who need a quick re-up for some old records of Tremaine. “Young & Heartless Vol. 2″ dropped shortly after the first and was actually the tape which introduced me to the Petersburg native. We’ve all heard of the “mixtape Weezy,” but the “mixtape Songz” was nothing to sleep on either. An R&B dude jumping over other artists’ instrumentals and dismantling them was unheard of then. Even today it is because he’s really the only artist which can successfully pull the feat off.
So yeah, flashback to 2005 with a then still very young Trey Songz and his “YAHV2.” Just think, five years later he’s be on tour with Jay-Z. That’s a come up.

Trey doesn’t always post. Usually you can tell who is posting in the section where it reads “From the Mind of.” It is Trey’s site but sometimes others blog.

I thought that it was Tremaine who where writing everything (I was impressed by they way he was writing, but I know that hes smart anyway), but now I know.. I should continue to read this blog and hope that Trey could express himself in the same way as some of the blogers right here, because i really like what they are writing..
